Job summary

Ed Morse Moberly is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. You will diagnose and repair vehicles using the latest automotive technologies, provide accurate labor estimates, and communicate clearly with customers. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems per orders and dealership standards.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors and customers.
• Stay current with new technical information through formal training.
• Inspect and test vehicles to document findings for repairs.

Ed Morse Moberly is currently seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. Above Average Compensation available for the right applicant!

Responsibilities

• As a Technician you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver.
• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• ASE Certified
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen
