Job summary

Ed Morse Automotive Group is hiring an Entry Level Automotive Technician to join our growing team. You will perform maintenance and repair tasks per dealership standards while engaging with parts and service teams to ensure quality service.

A strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction, and ongoing learning is expected. We offer weekly pay, uncapped earning potential through bonuses and commissions, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on maintenance and repair orders in line with dealership standards.
• Sells lubrication, safety inspection and related services.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with parts department to obtain required parts.
• Assess vehicle to determine further safety or service work needed and communicate results.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and performance.

Ed Morse is curently seeking anEntry Level Automotive Technicianto join our team.

Responsibilities

• Entry Level Automotive technicians perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Sells lubrication, safety inspection and other related services
• Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replenishes as necessary
• Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
• Road tests vehicles

Qualifications

• As an Automotive Technician (Automotive Mechanic), you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver.
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Must be willing to submit to a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen
