Job summary
Anew Transport is seeking an Automotive Shop & Upfit Associate to support daily shop operations and perform aftermarket vehicle installations and upfits. You will handle shelving, ladder racks, brush guards, toolboxes, and other components, with emphasis on safety and quality.
The role requires welding experience and the ability to complete 12-volt electrical wiring and installations, while working independently to boost shop efficiency and performance.
Qualifications
- Welding experience and ability to weld and fabricate.
- Ability to complete 12-volt automotive electrical wiring and accessory installations.
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of common automotive/shop tools.
- Ability to read and follow installation instructions, diagrams, measurements, and technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Install aftermarket vehicle equipment and upfit components per job requirements.
- Perform vehicle modifications and custom upfit work following instructions and specifications.
- Read diagrams and manufacturer instructions to ensure proper installation.
- Perform 12V electrical wiring, lighting, switches, relays, and wiring harness connections.
- Weld and fabricate as required for upfits and modifications.
- Inspect installations for proper fit, function, and quality.
