Job summary
Anew Transport in Pevely, MO is seeking an Automotive Shop & Upfit Associate to support daily shop operations and perform aftermarket vehicle installations. You will handle upfit components such as shelving, running boards, lighting, and related modifications, with emphasis on safety and quality.
The role requires welding experience and the ability to perform 12-volt electrical wiring and installations, working independently while contributing to shop efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Welding experience and ability to perform fabrication work.
- Ability to complete 12-volt automotive electrical wiring and installations.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with common shop tools.
- Ability to read installation instructions, diagrams and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Install aftermarket equipment and upfit components.
- Perform vehicle modifications and custom upfit work.
- Read and follow installation instructions, diagrams and technical documentation.
- Measure, position, drill, mount, and secure equipment.
- Complete 12-volt electrical wiring for accessories and upfit components.
- Diagnose basic installation issues and troubleshoot electrical problems.
- Perform welding and basic fabrication as required.
- Inspect and test completed installations for proper fit and operation.
