Job summary

Alamo Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead upfit projects, acting as the technical expert and primary customer contact throughout the lifecycle. You will coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Customers to ensure project readiness and timely delivery.

The role requires 7–10 years of heavy equipment experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management or related technical field.
• Strong technical experience in hydraulics, electrical, and metal welding.
• Experience leading teams and delivering results; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical planning and execution of assigned upfit projects.
• Serve as primary customer contact for all technical matters throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Sales during pre-award phase to validate requirements and support solutions.
