Pure Imagination Labs seeks an Unreal Game Designer to create immersive experiences for entertainment, training and education projects. You will design levels, gameplay mechanics and related systems using Unreal Engine 4/5, while authoring robust GDDs and documentation.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, iterate prototypes, and ensure designs meet creative and technical goals. On-site role located in Kansas with a competitive compensation package.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in game design with Unreal Engine 4/5.
• Expertise in Unreal Blueprints and/or C++ is required.
• Experience developing GDDs for interactive and educational experiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

Responsabilidades

• Lead creation of interactive experiences, aligning gameplay with project goals.
• Develop comprehensive GDDs detailing gameplay, narratives and tech specs.
• Build levels and missions using Unreal Engine 5.
• Design and implement core game systems with Unreal Blueprints or C++.
• Prototype and iterate to validate mechanics against requirements.
• Collaborate with artists, developers and SMEs for cohesive integration.
• Test, optimize and iterate levels for performance and function.
• Maintain up-to-date GDDs and technical docs.
• Own specific gameplay elements and manage design workflows.
