Job summary

DCS Air & Space Technology (AST) Sector is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Digital Engineering team. This role focuses on Unreal Engine and C++ development, with GIS data integration, 3D content, and desktop application work.

You will design and implement interactive software combining real-time 3D visualization, engineering data, and custom user interfaces, supporting DoD programs. Collaboration with engineers, modelers, and analysts is essential to deliver robust software solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years of experience.
Experience developing with C++ and Unreal Engine.
Knowledge of GIS concepts and geospatial data integration.
Experience designing GUIs with Qt and working with 3D assets.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software using Unreal Engine and C++.
Integrate GIS data and 3D assets into applications.
Develop desktop application features and 3D visualization tools.
Debug and troubleshoot complex Unreal/C++ applications.
Collaborate with engineers and analysts to translate requirements into software.
