Job summary

DCS Corporation, a leader in defense and aerospace software, seeks a Software Engineer for Unreal Engine/C++ based desktop applications with GIS integration and 3D visualization capabilities. You will build, integrate, and maintain applications for advanced analysis and decision support.

Responsibilities include integrating GIS data, working with Blender assets, and developing UI with Qt, while collaborating with engineers and analysts to translate requirements into software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with C++ and Unreal Engine required.
• Knowledge of GIS concepts and 3D assets integration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain software using Unreal Engine and C++.
• Develop features for interactive 3D visualization and analysis.
• Integrate GIS and geospatial data into Unreal Engine applications.
• Work with Blender to prepare 3D models and assets.
• Develop desktop functionality using C++ and Qt.
• Debug and troubleshoot C++ and Unreal Engine applications.
• Translate requirements into software capabilities with multidisciplinary teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
