Job summary

Legion Studios Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking an Unreal Engineer (Mid–Lead) to build the core combat and gameplay systems for Covenant, a Dark Fantasy RPG. You will work across design, art, and engineering to deliver robust, scalable features and iterate based on feedback.

You should be proficient in C++, Unreal Engine, and networking, with a strong focus on optimization, multithreading, and tooling to support cross‑platform development. Leadership and mentoring are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine and gameplay systems.
• Experience with AI workflows and GAS integration.
• Proficient in C++ and multithreading.
• Experience with networking and replication.
• Ability to prototype and iterate on features.

Responsibilities

• Implement core gameplay systems and combat mechanics.
• Collaborate with design, art, and engineering teams to deliver cohesive features.
• Optimize performance and fix bugs across platforms.
• Write clean, maintainable code with good documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and lead technical decisions.
