Job summary

SkyBridge Tactical LLC in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking an Unmanned Systems Technician to assemble, integrate, operate, and repair unmanned platforms and related electronics. The role involves configuring flight controls, sensors, and comms, and working with engineers to resolve performance and reliability issues in field tests.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, hands-on UAV experience, and an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent technician experience.
• Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
• Recent hands-on unmanned-system experience with Group 1/2 platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, configure, test, operate, maintain, and repair unmanned systems.
• Integrate embedded systems, sensors, payloads, and comms onto platforms.
• Load, configure, and troubleshoot firmware and flight-control software.
• Support ground and flight testing, demonstrations, and fielding events.
• Work with engineers to refine designs and resolve performance issues.
