Job summary

Noblis is seeking Operations Specialists to support unmanned systems (UXS) and counter-unmanned systems (CUXS) Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) programs. These hands-on, field-forward roles ensure systems are mission-ready, configured correctly, and effectively employed to meet test objectives across ground, maritime, and aerial domains.

Responsibilities include planning test objectives, coordinating with program managers, supporting field operations, and documenting performance

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Active TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI access.
• Field experience deploying UXS and/or CUXS technologies in at least one operational environment.
• Leading or supporting T&E events, including safe and compliant operation and procedures.
• Experience identifying advantages/limitations of technologies and communicating impact to leadership.
• Experience with test and evaluation and cross-functional teams to develop testing approaches and metrics.
• Experience with federal government space requirements and SOP development.

Responsibilities

• Support T&E event planning and requirements from customer objectives for multiple overlapping events.
• Coordinate test support with program manager, test director, site manager and test teams.
• Support field operations and RDT&E of UXS and CUXS technologies across ground, maritime, and aerial domains.
• Coordinate with test directors, logistics staff, and site managers to align equipment and personnel for each test.
• Document system performance, anomalies, and operator observations during test events.
• Provide operator-level input on mission requirements and capability gaps to inform test design and development.
• Partner with Test Directors to ensure safe operation and compliance with airspace and other requirements.
• Support tests in GPS-denied or contested environments as required.
• Ensure safety protocols, airspace requirements and procedures are followed.
