Job summary

The Unmanned Systems Software Engineer at Seventh Dimension LLC in Virginia Beach, VA develops, tests, deploys, and sustains software for unmanned systems and C2/ISR capabilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or qualifying equivalent experience
• Minimum three (3) years hands-on professional experience with a degree, or seven (7) years without a degree
• US Citizen with active Secret Security Clearance and TS/SCI Eligibility
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy mobile and fixed software solutions for unmanned systems
• Support embedded software solutions on unmanned platforms and subsystems
• Design, test, document, and maintain software applications and utilities
• Enable autonomous navigation, mission planning, and C2/ISR capabilities
• Implement and support sensor fusion and data processing tools
• Develop automation scripts and data processing in Python
• Ensure secure communications with MAVLink and related protocols
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and end users in an Agile environment
