Job summary

Randstad USA in Palm Harbor, FL is seeking a hands-on UAS / Drone Flight Support Operator to manage launch, recovery, and ground infrastructure for autonomous delivery drones.

This field-based role offers rotating shifts with core hours 8:30am-8:30pm CT and up to 40 hours weekly; compensation is $27-$28 per hour, with High School education acceptable.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
• Comfortable working outdoors in an active environment.
• Flexible shift scheduling with varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft inspections (pre-flight and post-flight) and daily start/end of day activities
• Perform routine aircraft standard practices (as defined in Client UAS Maintenance Manual)
• Perform nest equipment inspections (pre-flight and post-flight) and daily start/end of day activities
• Set up and take down delivery drones, perform safety checks, and ensure smooth flight operations per FAA regulations and company protocols.
• Participate in Crew Briefs
• Maintain communications with the client Pilot-in-Command
• Perform aircraft conditional checks and troubleshoot ground faults
• Replace unserviceable aircraft as needed
• Log proper forms at each site
• Pick up any trash that could come in contact with an aircraft
• Execute physical recovery operations
• Conduct prioritized nest visits across assigned sector

Job Summary

Join our Palm Harbor flight team as a UAS / Drone Flight Support Operator. In this hands-on, field-based role. You will manage launch, recovery, and ground infrastructure for autonomous delivery drones.

Various shifts are available. Core hours are 8:30am-8:30pm CT, but hours will vary between 7:00am-10:00pm with a max of 40 hours a week. Hours are dependent upon business needs, personal preference, and may vary between a traditional 8 hours, 5 days a week or even 12, 12, 12, 4.

Key Requirements & Highlights

• Active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid drivers license and current auto insurance
• Must pass BGV and MVR
• Must have Part 107 Certification/License
• Eligible to drive regular vehicle at average of 40-50 Miles per day
• Being safety focused driven with pervious jobs. Performing safety checks, and ensuring smooth flight operations in compliance with FAA regulations and company protocols

Physical Requirements

• Lift from ground level and carry up to 35 lbs and carry multiple items at the same time
• Crouch down and pick up or place objects from/to the ground weighing up to twenty (20) pounds
• Push or pull a wheeled cart on level ground weighing up to two hundred (200) pounds
• Be on feet constantly walking (10k+ steps per day)
• Work outside in various weather conditions (light rain, wind, temperatures ranging from 23F to 110F)
• Maintain mental and visual alertness
