Job summary

Predian seeks a part-time laborer to assist with community waste collection events. You will unload vehicles, handling items residents drop off such as paint, electronics, oils, and tires.

The position varies by event location, with dates and sites provided in advance and you choosing which events to work. As you learn safe packaging and shipping of hazardous waste, you will understand how materials are managed to keep them out of landfills and water supplies.

Job Description:

As a Laborer you will learn the safe and compliant packaging and shipping of hazardous waste. You'll learn how its handled safely, where it goes, and how we help keep these materials out of landfills and water supplies. In this role, you will separate and pack hazardous material for transport.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
• By law, you must be 18 years of age.
• You must be willing and able to wear company-provided personal protection (PPE) including eye protection, face shield, Tyvek coveralls and respirator.
