Job summary

Redline Automotive Merchandising is seeking a part-time laborer to assist with community waste collection events in Texas. You will help unload vehicles as residents drop off household waste and hazardous materials.

You will learn safe packaging and shipping of hazardous waste and how these materials are handled to prevent contamination. You must wear PPE and be willing to work at different event locations with dates provided in advance.

Job description

We are currently seeking a part-time laborer to assist with community waste collection events.

In this role, you will be responsible for unloading vehicles as residents drop off unwanted household waste, including paint, electronics, oils, and tires.

The location of the job will change for each event. You will be provided with the specific date, time, and location details in advance, and you can decide whether you want to work each scheduled event.

Job Description:

As a Laborer you will learn the safe and compliant packaging and shipping of hazardous waste. You'll learn how its handled safely, where it goes, and how we help keep these materials out of landfills and water supplies. In this role, you will separate and pack hazardous material for transport.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to follow procedures and pay attention to details
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time

By law, you must be 18 years of age.

You must be willing and able to wear company-provided personal protection (PPE) including eye protection, face shield, Tyvek coveralls and respirator.
