Job summary

Predian is seeking a part-time laborer to assist with community waste collection events. You will unload vehicles, handle waste items, and learn the safe packaging and shipping of hazardous materials while complying with PPE requirements. Scheduling is event-based and flexible, with training on site.

Ideal candidates will be comfortable with physical work, follow procedures, and be at least 18 years old. English proficiency is required to communicate and follow instructions.

Job description

We are currently seeking a part-time laborer to assist with community waste collection events.

In this role, you will be responsible for unloading vehicles as residents drop off unwanted household waste, including paint, electronics, oils, and tires.

The location of the job will change for each event. You will be provided with the specific date, time, and location details in advance, and you can decide whether you want to work each scheduled event.

Job Description:

As a Laborer you will learn the safe and compliant packaging and shipping of hazardous waste. You'll learn how its handled safely, where it goes, and how we help keep these materials out of landfills and water supplies. In this role, you will separate and pack hazardous material for transport.

Preferred qualifications include:

• By law, you must be 18 years of age.

You must be willing and able to wear company-provided personal protection (PPE) including eye protection, face shield, Tyvek coveralls and respirator.
