Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an Unlicensed Social Worker/Counselor/Mental Health Clinician to provide counseling across settings such as medical facilities, hospitals, clinics and schools. You’ll ensure licensing compliance, maintain CPR and health certifications where required, and meet all regulatory standards.

Travel roles are included. Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s in psychology, sociology, social work or counseling and are 18+ with a commitment to patient

Qualifications

• Licensing/certification per state/facility requirements
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Degrees in psychology, sociology, social work, counseling or related field preferred

Job description

The Unlicensed Social Worker/Counselor/Mental Health Clinician provides counseling to patient’s in a variety of settings including medical facilities, hospitals, clinics, learning centers and other organizations that are in need of assistance.

• Licensing/Certification according to state/facility/contract requirements
• Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or other Human Development Major preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
