Job summary

Amergis in Corvallis, OR is seeking an Unlicensed Social Worker/Counselor/Mental Health Clinician for a travel assignment in healthcare facilities. This role provides counseling to patients across medical facilities, hospitals, clinics, learning centers, and other organizations in need of assistance.

Minimum requirements include licensing per state, degrees in Psychology/Sociology/Social Work/Counseling or Nursing, and compliance with professional standards.

Qualifications

• Complies with relevant professional standards of practice
• CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire or chest X-ray if applicable
• Health certificate required per contract/state regulation
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to patients in medical facilities, hospitals, clinics, learning centers and other organizations in need of assistance
• Practice in accordance with professional standards and scope of practice
• Coordinate care and documentation as required by each facility

The Unlicensed Social Worker/Counselor/Mental Health Clinician provides counseling to patient’s in a variety of settings including medical facilities, hospitals, clinics, learning centers and other organizations that are in need of assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensing/Certification according to state/facility/contract requirements
• Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or other Human Development Major preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
