Job summary

Spatial Front, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator (UNIX/Solaris) to support our growing team. The role focuses on administration, sustainment, security, and continuous improvement of the UNIX/Solaris infrastructure that supports PeopleSoft HCM in a secure, on-premises federal environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years UNIX/Solaris administration or infrastructure support.
• Experience with PeopleSoft HCM or similar ERP environments preferred.
• US citizenship with an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and sustain Solaris/UNIX servers and supporting infrastructure.
• Install, configure, patch, harden, maintain, and troubleshoot operating systems and services.
• Manage system performance, logs, file systems, accounts, cron jobs, and configurations.
• Develop shell scripts and automation to streamline administration and batch processing.
• Support security, audit readiness, vulnerability remediation, and DISA STIG compliance.
• Troubleshoot incidents and coordinate resolution across teams.
• Support backup, recovery, patch cycles, and change control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a secure, reliable platform.
