Job summary

UVS Games is seeking an experienced leader to elevate its Organized Play program. You will partner with internal teams and external partners to design engaging player programs and to steer large-scale events and tournaments.

You will guide the program’s roadmap, manage inventory for events, and drive growth across casual and competitive ecosystems aligned with our brand and regional goals in a flexible, nationwide capacity.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the TCG/board game industry.
  • Proven experience in sales, supply chain, event planning, customer service, or community management.
  • Strong knowledge of the TCG/CCG Organized Play industry and US market.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and be proactive in a flexible role.
  • Ability to provide leadership at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop engaging player programs.
  • Lead the development and execution of large-scale events and tournaments.
  • Work with the Organized Play team to deliver the feature roadmap for the program.
  • Manage Organized Play inventory to assure coverage at events.
  • Lead weekly program development meetings with the Organized Play team and stakeholders.
  • Work with Web Developers to prioritize, scope, and implement web features to support the program’s evolution.
  • Work with partners to establish strategic business relationships to augment community programs.
  • Directly manages and oversees alignment across competition production, operations, players management, and program design to ensure consistent experiences for all of our games
  • Develop and scale an Organized Play strategy that delivers a casual and competitive ecosystem aligned with brand, player growth, and regional engagement goals

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

UVS Games is excited to continue to grow and develop their team of talent. As such, we are looking for an experienced leader to take our Organized Play function to the next level. UVS Games is a fast-growing company devoted to tabletop games, collectible card games, board games, and more. We want to be the best, and we know what it takes to get there, but we also try to not take ourselves too seriously. We’re a game company, after all. This position is the perfect way to combine your passion for games with your expertise in creative in a fun, upbeat environment.

UVS Games has published a number of card games, board games, and figurines. We’ve built products for well-known IPs such as League of Legends, My Hero Academia, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Street Fighter, Godzilla, Attack on Titan, Cowboy Bebop, Star Trek, and more.

What you’ll do

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in sales, supply chain, event planning, customer service, community management, or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of the TCG/CCG Organized Play industry and player community in the US market
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and be proactive in a flexible and evolving role
  • Ability to provide leadership and guidance at all levels of an organization

Base Salary: The expected base salary range for this role is $70,000-$90,000. This is based upon a calculation using the national average for similar positions. While this is the normalized and expected range in most cases, exceptions may be made for exceptional levels of experience. Individuals who feel they would be a good fit for this role are encouraged to apply and discuss any compensation concerns with Human Resources during the interview process. We also encourage all applicants to consider the total compensation package, including benefits, PTO, etc.
