Job summary

UVS Games is seeking a Product Safety & Compliance Specialist to ensure our tabletop games meet global safety, regulatory, and certification requirements across development and manufacturing.

You will establish scalable safety programs, coordinate third‑party testing, review product specs for compliance, and maintain documentation across geographies. This role supports licensing partners and cross‑functional teams in a fast‑growing publishing environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing product safety, regulatory compliance, or certification programs for physical consumer products.
  • Familiarity with global product safety frameworks including ASTM, CPSIA, CE, EN71, UKCA, or similar standards.
  • Experience coordinating with third-party testing laboratories and manufacturing vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong follow-through.
  • Experience working with international manufacturing and supply chain partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own the systems and standards that ensure UVS products meet applicable safety, regulatory, and certification requirements across their full lifecycle.
  • Establish and scale UVS’s product safety and compliance programs
  • Coordinate testing and certification requirements with external labs and manufacturing partners
  • Ensure products comply with applicable standards and regulations including ASTM, CPSIA, CE, EN, UKCA, and related requirements

  • Support age grading, warning language, labeling requirements, and regional compliance needs
  • Maintain organized compliance records, technical files, test reports, and certification documentation
  • Track regulatory changes and communicate impacts to internal teams
  • Partner with licensors and external stakeholders on product safety and compliance approvals
  • Investigate product safety or compliance concerns and support corrective action processes when needed
  • Help establish scalable compliance processes and documentation standards as UVS grows globally

Product Safety & Compliance Specialist

We are hiring a Product Safety & Compliance Specialist to ensure UVS products meet applicable global safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements across all stages of development and manufacturing.

This role will help establish and maintain many of the systems, standards, documentation practices, and partner workflows that support product safety and regulatory compliance as the company continues to scale globally. They will work closely with product development, production, licensing, and manufacturing partners to help ensure UVS products satisfy applicable regulatory standards and certification requirements before entering the market.

What you’ll do

What we are looking for

Other benefits

Base Salary: The expected base compensation range for this role is $80,000-$110,000 annually. This is based upon a calculation using the national average for similar positions. While this is the normalized and expected range in most cases, exceptions may be made for exceptional levels of experience or significant variance in cost-of-living due to geographic location. Individuals who feel they would be a good fit for this role are encouraged to apply and discuss any compensation concerns with Human Resources during the interview process. We also encourage all applicants to consider the total compensation package, including benefits, PTO, etc.
