Job summary

Cal State East Bay’s Health Educator role supports the campus community by implementing evidence-based wellness initiatives and coordinating WellNest operations, including food pantry activities and health resources for students.

The position partners with PAW student assistants, develops learning outcomes, and leads outreach events to promote mental and physical wellbeing, basic needs, and campus services. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and work occasional evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of health education theories and program assessment.
• Ability to design, implement and evaluate wellbeing programs.
• Experience delivering workshops and outreach activities to a college student population.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily WellNest operations and food pantry activities.
• Plan, implement and evaluate wellbeing programs and campaigns.
• Deliver workshops and outreach events promoting campus wellness resources.
