Job summary

The California State University East Bay invites applications for a Health Educator to support student wellness through WellNest and the Wellness Center. The role engages campus partners and leads data-informed programs addressing basic needs, nutrition, ATOD, sexual health, and violence prevention.

Under supervision, you will coordinate operations, lead workshops, mentor PAW student assistants, and contribute to outreach events and campaigns that promote campus wellbeing and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an approved program in health education or related health field.
• Equivalent to one to two years of progressively responsible health education experience or a combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily WellNest operations to support health education, wellness promotion, and student access to basic needs resources.
• Facilitate procedures for food storage, distribution, and sanitation ensuring health and safety standards.
• Coordinate food procurement and access efforts through campus and community partnerships.
• Maintain records and outcome data to prepare reports and inform health education and wellness programming.
• Support WellNest and RAW Wellness Center operations and outreach activities, including PAW student mentoring.
