Job summary

Cal State East Bay seeks a Health Educator to engage the campus in evidence-based wellness approaches, coordinate WellNest operations, and lead outreach efforts for student wellbeing. You will disseminate data to drive program findings and collaborate with campus partners on wellness campaigns.

The role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating wellbeing programs, coordinating food pantry activities, and mentoring PAW student assistants. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health education or related field.
• 1–2 years health education experience or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and work evenings/weekends as needed for outreach events.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily WellNest operations in support of health education and student access to basic needs resources.
• Develop and evaluate wellbeing programs and workshops for campus community.
• Collaborate with campus partners to promote wellness campaigns and services.
• Lead and mentor PAW student assistants in service delivery.
• Maintain records and reporting to assess service impact and outcomes.
