Job summary

AMD in Austin, TX is seeking a University Relations Recruiter on a hybrid contract basis to drive intern hiring for technical roles across multiple business units. The role covers sourcing, screening, presenting candidates to leaders, and guiding offers to conversions.

You will own full-cycle intern recruitment, partner with managers to set requirements, and ensure a smooth candidate experience from outreach to onboarding, including on-site campus events.

• Support local recruiting and internship events (on-site attendance required).
• Contribute to various University Relations initiatives and projects as assigned.

We’re looking for a University Relations (UR) Recruiter to support technical and functional hiring across one or more business units. This is a contract position based in Austin and follows a hybrid schedule, with in-person presence required for key campus events and intern engagements.

You take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing top student talent and presenting candidates to business leaders, to guiding offers and driving intern conversions.
