Job summary

Varda Space Industries is seeking a University Recruiter to scale our university recruiting and internship program. The role will own roughly half of the university recruiting load, managing candidates from application through offer while partnering with engineering and business teams across campuses.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in university sourcing, screens, and relationship-building with students, universities, and career centers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a university recruiter with full-cycle ownership.
• Ability to engage college students and build campus relationships.
• Skilled in sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, and campus channels.
• Experience representing an employer at career fairs and information sessions.

Responsibilities

• Own approximately 50% of the university recruiting requisition load from application to offer.
• Source and identify early-career talent via LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, networks, and referrals.
• Review resumes, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and drive offers to close.
• Partner with hiring managers to define candidate profiles and build pipelines.
• Manage candidate pipelines in Greenhouse and represent Varda at career events.
• Develop relationships with career centers, faculty, and student organizations.
• Collaborate with the University Relations Manager on strategy and partnerships.
