Qualifications

Required:

• U.S. citizen, at least 21 years old, with no felony or domestic abuse convictions.
• Good character, high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and a safe driving record.
• Must become certified as a police officer in Arkansas within 12 months.

Preferred: Certification as a police officer in Arkansas or reciprocity state.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of law enforcement techniques, traffic laws, and parking regulations.
• Ability to operate patrol vehicles and firearms safely.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
