Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 1–3 years of hands-on payroll, bookkeeping, or administrative accounting experience.
• Office environment experience essential; preference for financial or higher education setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, financial reporting, or office administration preferred.

Responsabilités

• Calculate standard pay, overtime, shifts, bonuses, commissions, and retro-pay.
• Process bi-weekly payroll using automated payroll software.
• Review and verify timesheets.
• Execute direct deposits, manual checks, and wage garnishments.
• Maintain employee payroll profiles and update pay rate changes, tax withholdings, and deductions.
• Balance and reconcile payroll accounts before and after pay runs.
