Vermont State Colleges System seeks a licensed mental health professional to provide direct counseling to students, including assessment, treatment planning, and crisis interventions. The role requires maintaining confidential records in an EMR system compliant with HIPAA and serving as a consultant to campus departments on Wellness programming.

You will collaborate with faculty, student success staff, and external health partners, co-facilitate groups, and support interns.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, or similar field.
• Experience in higher education setting is preferred.
• Licensed in a psychotherapy field is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct services to students including clinical assessment, treatment planning, diagnostic formulation to provide short-term counseling and crisis interventions.
• Maintain case records through EMR system following HIPAA standards.
• Consult and train residential life, student success staff, and other university departments on counseling and Wellness programming matters.
• Coordinate with student success staff, faculty, and external partners to plan, coordinate and evaluate activities and referrals.
• Co-facilitate groups, trainings, events and support interns as needed.
