Qualifications

• Minimum two years of College or equivalent work-related experience may be accepted.
• Must have at least three years’ experience as a Police Officer.
• Current ACT 120 certification under MPOETC.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Additional certification may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Investigates criminal and non-criminal incidents and identifies involved parties.
• Interviews witnesses, canvasses areas, and analyzes data collected.
• Directs photographing of crime scenes and collection of evidence.
• Submits reports on cases investigated to superiors and maintains chain of custody.
