Rider University invites applications for a Public Safety Detective who investigates incidents and supports the Title IX office. The role also includes acting as an alternate shift supervisor and guiding campus safety operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in security or police work and 3 years in criminal investigations, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to work overtime. This is a 10-month position at Rider University.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years military, police, or security experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in criminal investigations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Calm under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime, voluntary and involuntary.
• Background check required; valid driver’s license.
• Essential personnel to maintain university operations during emergencies.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and conduct investigations.
• Serve as an alternate shift supervisor during absences.
• Provide leadership and supervision during shifts and events.
• Patrol campus property by foot or vehicle; respond to calls and file reports.
• Assist the Lieutenant of Patrol with Clery Act compliance and documentation.
