Job summary

University of Southern California is seeking a Housing Administrator to support the Faculty & Staff Housing Assistance and Neighborhood Homeownership programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or Finance-related focus.
• 3 years of experience in real estate transactions.
• Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum work experience.
• Thorough knowledge of real estate, banking, and/or other financial industry exposure.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to cultivate long‑term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Guide applicants through financing process for USC housing programs.
• Translate complex financial, legal, and real estate requirements into a clear experience.
• Build partnerships with borrowers, real estate agents, banks, escrow officers, and University leadership.
• Monitor the Los Angeles housing market and recommend program improvements.
• Conduct due diligence for property gifts and acquisitions.
