Job summary

Rider University invites applications for a Housing Coordinator. The Housing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational, logistical, and customer service functions of the housing program.

This is a live-on 12-month position with a 24/7 on-call rotation on campus. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in housing or related areas, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with StarRez or similar software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in housing, residence life, student affairs, or related areas.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret policies and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with StarRez or other housing management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with housing-related concerns while applying sound judgment and policy interpretation.
• Contribute to a student-centered approach that promotes inclusion, belonging, and student success.
• Serve as a liaison between Residential Education and University Housing and Facilities Management.
• Assist with key management, access control processes, and inventory tracking; conduct key audits.
• Maintain housing records and student information within StarRez; assist with marketing materials.
• This is a live-on position with on-call rotation and varied hours.
