Pinterest is seeking inquisitive university graduates to join our engineering teams in the United States. You’ll work with mentors across product, design, data, and backend engineering to learn how large-scale systems operate and contribute to new technologies and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, expected by June 2027.
• Available to start full-time between January 2027 and September 2027.
• At least one year of programming experience through internships, coursework, research, teaching, personal projects, open source, or hackathons.
• Familiarity using AI as a learning, productivity, and engineering tool.
• Strong foundation in CS fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C++, and familiarity with frameworks like React.
• Strong communication skills and product sense; growth mindset with willingness to learn.

• Contribute to engineering work across backend, full stack, mobile, web, and security domains, depending on team

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, expected by June 2027
• Must be available to start full-time between January 2027 and September 2027
• At least one year of programming experience through internships, research, coursework, teaching, personal projects, open source, or hackathons
• Familiarity using AI as a learning, productivity, and engineering tool, and as an iterative coding partner, to accelerate engineering work while exercising strong judgment around accuracy, security, and when to ask for help
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C++, and familiarity with relevant frameworks, tools, or technologies such as React or similar. Technical requirements vary by team.
• Previous software engineering internship experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and product sense
• Passion for Pinterest, comfort with ambiguity, and a growth mindset with a willingness to continuously learn

In-Office Requirement Statement:

• We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we’re not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
• For this role, some employees will work in a hybrid model (commutable distance to one of our offices, with in-person collaboration approximately 1-2 times per week), and some will work fully remote within approved locations. Specific location and work style (hybrid or remote) will be confirmed during the interview and offer process.

$129,022 — $174,283 USD

In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for equity.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
