Job summary

Pinterest is seeking curious, versatile Web Engineers to join our Product Engineering teams. You’ll work with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to push the boundaries of what’s possible on the web, delivering delightful experiences for millions of Pinners.

You will own projects end to end, mentor teammates, and drive innovations that empower users and fellow engineers, with an emphasis on quality and responsible AI use. This role is US-based with flexible onsite collaboration.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of Web development and best practices in React/Redux.
• 5+ years of industry Web application development experience, building consumer or business facing products.
• Experience in following best practices in writing reliable and maintainable code that may be used by many other engineers.
• Ability to keep up-to-date with new technologies to understand what should be incorporated.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

What we're looking for:

• Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in your day-to- day workflow for relevant outputs.
• Strong track record of critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work (e.g., testing, source-checking, data validation, peer review).
• High integrity and ownership: you protect sensitive data, avoid over-reliance on AI, and remain accountable for final decisions and deliverables.

In-Office Requirement:

We prioritize flexibility, but believe in the power of in-person connection. This role requires occasional onsite collaboration (1-2 times per quarter), so you can be located anywhere in the US.
