Job summary

Be The Match is seeking a dynamic Member Recruitment & Event Coordinator to educate and engage diverse communities in Los Angeles County. You will coordinate registry recruitment events, build partnerships, and deliver excellent member experiences while working with marketing and donor services teams.

The role focuses on community engagement, education, and travel across the region to meet enrollment goals and support the NMDP mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field or experience.
• Minimum 2 years in sales, business or community development with event planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce expected.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains relationships with ethnically diverse communities.
• Plan and deliver mission-focused events (live and digital).
• Collaborates with account managers and marketing on engagement strategies.
• Recruit and retain volunteers; support donor recruitment and recognition.
• Travel within region as needed (25–50%), including evenings/weekends.
