Primary Responsibilities

• Operate a vehicle/van safely and efficiently.
• Follow scheduled routes or respond to unscheduled pick ups/drop offs.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting.
• Load and unload luggage, packages, and other items.
• Report any vehicle accidents or safety situations immediately to dispatch.
• Inspect vehicle exterior and interior at beginning of each shift for proper function.
• Ensure vehicle is clean, fueled, and maintained.
• Monitor vehicle condition and report malfunctions.
• Accurately complete driver trip sheet for each shift.
• Communicate respectfully with passengers in a courteous, friendly, professional manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Background Check

Offers are conditioned upon successful completion of a background (including criminal records) check.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Meet university requirements for driving a university vehicle.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License (CDL License preferred) with no convictions or at-fault accidents, DWAI, DWI, or DUI convictions within the last year.
• Work experience in a driving or related position preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior professional driving experience.

Salary

$15.50/hr.
