Bethel University is seeking a University Custodian to join the Facilities Management team in St. Paul, MN.
This full-time role covers 40 hours per week on 1st shift (8:00 am – 4:30 pm), contributing to a Christ-centered campus by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with preferred post-secondary work and 2+ years custodial experience.

As a member of our staff, you serve as a minister of the gospel by fostering a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where students can grow.
This is a 40 hour per week, 12 months per year position. Typical working hours are on 1st Shift (8:00 am – 4:30 pm). The salary range for this role is $19.00 – $21.75 per hour.
Clean and maintain assigned areas – 30%
Supervision – 25%
Event Set Up – 25%
Administration – 20%
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education
Some post‑secondary classwork
Required Experience
No professional experience is required.
Preferred Experience
2+ years of custodial experience.

The job requires extended periods of traversing the Bethel Campus on a regular basis. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. This is a 40 hour per week, 12 months per year position. Typical working hours are on 1st Shift (8:00 am – 4:30 pm) and some overtime may be required. This position is considered essential personnel and must be available outside of normal working hours if needed to support contingency operations such as snow removal or support of special events.
