Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• Minimum four years of budgeting, planning, reporting, and/or analysis experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the University approved position salary budgets.
• Prepare three financial budgets per year (original, revised, and estimated) and two personnel budgets (original and revised) for approval by the APSU Board of Trustees, Tennessee Board of Regents, and the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.
• Plan, communicate, and execute the annual fee proposal and budget request.
• Process revenue and expense budget revisions.
• Provide budget analyses and projections to support critical resource allocation planning by University administration.
• Provide ad-hoc reports, schedules, and analyses as requested.
• Answer general budget questions and provide training to faculty and staff.
