Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a closely related field.
• 10 years of progressively responsible experience in budget development, financial planning, or public finance.
• 3 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead budget development and financial planning processes across UT System.
• Prepare Monthly Financial Reports (MFR) and AFC analyses for leadership.
• Support the legislative appropriation request process and related analyses.
• Develop ad hoc reports for the Chief Budget Officer.
• Direct cross-functional initiatives to improve budget systems and transparency.
