Job Title: Universal Teller I (Full Time)

This is a full-time, in-office position within the 705 Teller Operations department.

Job Summary

The Universal Teller I is responsible for conducting and processing various customer bank transactions while delivering the "IBC Experience". This includes providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service, maintaining a balanced cash drawer, and building customer relationships to identify banking needs.

Essential Job Functions
  • Process paying and receiving teller transactions.
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service.
  • Balance and maintain cash drawer and perform end-of-day processes.
  • Promote bank products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Meet sales performance goals and participate in referral programs.
  • Participate in product and service initiatives for bank growth.
  • Attend company meetings.
  • Process foreign currency transactions.
  • Follow procedures to minimize errors and losses.
  • Assist in resolving customer transaction issues.
  • Operate and maintain teller equipment.
  • Assist with branch procedures, including opening and closing.
  • Train other staff members as needed.
  • Flexibility to support other branches as required.
  • Perform sales functions and other duties as assigned.
Skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills (bilingual preferred for border markets).
  • Proficiency in 10 Key.
