Job Summary

The Universal Teller I position is responsible for conducting and processing various customer bank transactions while delivering the “IBC Experience”. This includes providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service, adhering to bank policies, maintaining a balanced cash drawer, and building customer relationships to identify products and services that meet banking needs.

Essential Job Functions
  • Process paying and receiving teller transactions
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
  • Balance and maintain cash drawer and vault, perform end-of-day processes
  • Promote bank products and services to meet customer needs
  • Achieve sales performance goals and participate in referral programs
  • Participate in product and service initiatives for bank growth
  • Attend company meetings
  • Process foreign currency transactions
  • Follow procedures to minimize errors and losses
  • Resolve customer transaction issues
  • Answer banking inquiries
  • Operate and maintain teller equipment
  • Assist with branch procedures including opening and closing
  • Train other staff as needed
  • Be flexible to report to other branches as required
  • Perform sales functions and other duties as assigned
