FAIRWINDS Credit Union in Orlando’s MetroWest branch seeks an energetic Member Service Specialist to guide members through financial solutions and open accounts. You’ll handle teller and platform transactions, promote digital tools, and deliver consultative service to build lasting relationships.

Your role emphasizes cross-selling, responsive problem-solving, and adapting to a fast-paced environment while supporting branch goals and ensuring security compliance.

Qualifications

• Experienced in consumer lending and member-facing roles.
• Ability to guide members through personal loans, credit products, and financial solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving individual and/or branch goals.
• Strong knowledge of FAIRWINDS products, services, and digital platforms.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle teller and platform transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Open new accounts and recommend relevant products based on members' financial needs.
• Build trust through consultative conversations for long-term financial success.
• Refer solutions including deposit accounts, loans, investments, and digital tools.
• Generate loan opportunities through inbound, outbound, and referrals.
• Provide prompt support for account maintenance and problem resolution.
• Promote self-service tools like online banking, mobile apps, and ATMs.
• Support branch operations including opening/closing and cash handling.
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and security protocols.

Your Role In Our Mission

• Serve as the go-to resource for members by handling all teller and platform transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Open new accounts and recommend relevant products and services based on members’ unique financial needs.
• Build trust and deepen relationships through consultative conversations that lead to long-term financial success for our members.
• Proactively refer solutions including deposit accounts, loans, investment and insurance products, and digital banking tools.
• Actively generate loan opportunities through inbound, outbound, and referral-based efforts.
• Deliver prompt support for service-related needs such as account maintenance and problem resolution.
• Promote and educate members on self-service tools including online banking, mobile apps, and ATMs.
• Serve as a keyholder when needed and support operational procedures including branch opening/closing and negotiable item custody.
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and security protocols while supporting the branch team in achieving goals.
