Newtown Savings Bank is seeking a Universal Banker II at our Trumbull, CT branch. The role involves delivering prompt, courteous service, generating deposit accounts, loan applications and referrals while supporting branch leadership.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 2 years of customer service/sales experience, and prefer banking experience. This is a full-time role with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years previous relevant customer service and/or sales experience.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Banking experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to customers and resolve complaints.
• Solicit new business by uncovering needs and offering deposit/loan/investment options.
• Develop new accounts and open accounts based on customer needs.
• Lead in the absence of Branch Management and assist with staffing and operations.
• Ensure compliance with CIP, BSA, AML and OFAC requirements.
