Newtown Savings Bank in Connecticut is hiring Universal Banker I for our Newtown and Monroe branches. You will work with Branch Management to deliver friendly, efficient service, open new deposit accounts, process loan applications, and generate investment referrals.

This role requires a high school diploma, customer service or sales experience, and strong communication skills. You will cover multiple locations, meet sales goals, and participate in community activities while upholding the bank's

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers.
• Proactively promote deposit products and related services.
• Develop new account relationships and open consumer accounts.
• Process teller transactions within policy and procedure.
• Support branch operations and participate in team meetings.
• Adhere to CIP, BSA, AML and OFAC requirements.
