Position Details

• Location: Nashua, NH

Role Overview

The Universal Banker III (UB III) serves as a supervisor to Tellers, UB I, and UB II, and acts as a backup to the Assistant Branch Manager. Under the guidance of branch management, the UB III will be scheduled to work both behind the teller line to manage the vault and teller line staff, and in the lobby to assist customers.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Previous cash handling and customer service experience in retail, including at least one year within UB II or relevant experience
• Thorough knowledge of bank products, services, policies, and procedures
• Customer focus with strong relationship-building skills
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and solve problems
• Proven supervisory skills and staff coaching abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM, core banking systems, digital banking solutions, cash recycler, etc.
• Flexibility to work opening and closing hours as per branch schedule
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule daily activities of tellers and UB staff
• Maintain attendance records and oversee daily balancing
• Manage branch cash operations and vault security
• Open new accounts, assist with customer inquiries, and process applications
• Support digital banking onboarding and technical support
• Balance ATM transactions and maintain safe deposit records
• Perform audits and open/close branch as required
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
• Support the branch's sales efforts and promote bank products
• Utilize CRM and promote customer relationships
• Serve as Notary Public
