Position Overview

Responsible for providing exceptional service to all existing and potential clients. Will manage the full client experience efficiently by identifying cross-sell opportunities, making referrals to partnering business lines, executing service requests and transactions. Assume management responsibilities within approved limits in the absence of the Retail Private Banker and Retail Client Experience Manager. Candidates for this role must have strong communication skills, be enthusiastic, technologically savvy, able to recognize sales and deposit growth opportunities and be willing to exceed our clients and prospects expectations in every interaction. They must adopt and live our core principles and display actions reflecting “Clients First” and “One Team” principles daily.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver service to clients in the manner they want to be treated while demonstrating all required service protocols and best practices.
  2. Learn and encourage clients to use the branch technology offered, educating them on ease of usage.
  3. Develop, expand, and manage consumer and business account relationships, focusing on meeting client needs for financial products.
  4. Identify clients with additional profit potential and develop action plans to expand these relationships.
  5. Participate in ongoing training and sales meetings.
  6. Understand partner roles and all products/services offered by PGB to help uncover expressed and unexpressed client needs.
  7. Proficiently open all products such as checking, money market, CDs, IRAs, Netteller, Debit Cards, and complete credit card and loan applications.
  8. Process transactions like deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, IRAs, CDs, and account maintenance.
  9. Provide supervisory overrides and review transactions in the absence of managers.
  10. Assist with branch operations including reporting, audits, cash handling, and ordering coin/currency.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and provide courteous, efficient service, anticipating client needs and promoting bank products.
  12. Apply critical thinking to identify solutions and approaches to problems.
  13. Comply with policies and regulations, staying current with banking regulations.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Flexible to work within banking hours: M, T, W, F 8:30am-5pm; Th 8:30am-6pm; Sat 8:30am-12pm
  • Customer experience in Retail or Hospitality preferred; Banking experience a plus
  • Ability to go the extra mile for clients
  • Enjoys working with others and creating a productive environment
  • Proactive, adaptable, and committed to work
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Willing to learn bank products and procedures
  • Operate with integrity and professionalism
  • Fluent in English; other languages a plus
