Georgia’s Own Credit Union seeks a Universal Banker I to blend teller duties with proactive member service. You will open accounts, process transactions, assist with loans, and promote credit union products, aiming to deliver a seamless, friendly member experience.

As a trusted financial resource, you’ll balance cash, handle inquiries, and collaborate with team members to meet branch goals while following policies and risk controls. This role pays $23.00 per hour and includes a benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in a financial branch or retail sales environment.
• Ability to open/close accounts and process transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of loan processes and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and provide exceptional service in person, over the phone, or digitally.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions.
• Balance cash and maintain teller records according to standards.
• Open/close consumer and business accounts; assist with loan applications.
• Educate members on products and services and resolve issues promptly.
