Job summary

Newtown Savings Bank is hiring a Universal Banker I for Woodbury and Brookfield branches. The role collaborates with Branch Management to implement policy, generate deposits, loans, and referrals while supporting cross-branch coverage.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent service, promoting deposit products, opening consumer accounts, handling wires, and assisting with daily branch operations. Weekend work and strong attendance are required, with a complete benefits package for

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous relevant customer service and/or sales experience.
Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers and resolve complaints or refer to management as needed.
Promote the full line of deposit products and related services to reach goals and generate referrals.
Develop new account relationships and open consumer accounts as needed.
Process domestic wire requests within authority limits.
Handle teller transactions within policy and obtain supervisor approval when required.
Support branch management with administrative duties and daily operations.
