Job summary

Newtown Savings Bank in Connecticut seeks a Universal Banker I for our Woodbury and Brookfield branches. You will work with Branch Management to execute bank policies, generate new deposit accounts, loan applications and investment referrals, and help build enduring customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and/or sales experience required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Weekend work and reliable attendance are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service to customers.
• Promote deposit products and related services to reach goals.
• Open consumer accounts and process credits like domestic wire requests.
• Handle teller transactions within authority limits and document maintenances.
• Assist with branch operations, schedules, and staff meetings.
